Named after the Leicestershire, England town in which it was based, Blaby was founded in January 1983 by John Bailiss. It was one of the longest-standing supporters of the Dragon 32 computer. One first from the company was a promotional VCR showing the games being played through. In 1988 Blaby withdrew from the Dragon market and R & A.J. Preston took over the rights to the Dragon games.
